Located moments from Brisbane’s CBD, The Ambrose by Kokoda Property features 181 residences across 19 levels, heralding Milton’s metamorphosis. This inner city locale was founded on humble farming origins and home grown heroes, from XXXX beer to the State of Origin. Inspired by Milton’s rich past and rebellious spirit, Claire embarked on a quest to uncover its secrets.
From the State Library of QLD to the Oxfordshire History Centre in the UK, Claire’s research led her to the original pioneer of Milton - Ambrose Eldridge, a man of entrepreneurial heart, generosity and fortitude. Naming the development in his honour, The Ambrose is a brand grounded with warmth and authenticity, celebrating laid-back charm and rebel spirit.

Assisted by The QLD Women’s Historic Association, Claire connected with Ambrose’s great grandson Trevor Parminter who continues to call Brisbane home today.
Collaborating with Render House Studios to create a relaxed and refined aesthetic, Claire shot on location in Brisbane with Andy Vukosav and Hamish MacGregor.
Claire carried Ambrose’s legacy forward for Milton’s next generation
of rebels.
